Benjamin Franklin Half Dollars: 1950 P, D
In the year 1950, approximately 8 million Ben Franklin half dollars were minted in Philadelphia (no mint mark) and about 8 million were made at the Denver mint.
Franklin halves were made of 90% silver. The mint mark appears on the reverse side of the coin above the image of the Liberty Bell.
