Benjamin Franklin Half Dollars: 1952 P, D, S
In the year 1952, approximately 21 million Ben Franklin half dollars were minted in Philadelphia (no mint mark), about 25 million were made at the Denver mint and around 6 million were produced in San Francisco.
Franklin halves were made of 90% silver. The mint mark appears on the reverse side of the coin above the image of the Liberty Bell.
