Benjamin Franklin Half Dollars: 1955 P
In the year 1955, approximately 3 million Ben Franklin half dollars were minted in Philadelphia (no mint mark).
Franklin halves were made of 90% silver. The mint mark appears on the reverse side of the coin above the image of the Liberty Bell.
