Benjamin Franklin Half Dollars: 1960 P, D
In the year 1960, approximately 8 Million Ben Franklin half dollars were minted in Philadelphia (no mint mark) and about 18 Million were made at the Denver mint.
Franklin halves were made of 90% silver. The mint mark appears on the reverse side of the coin above the image of the Liberty Bell.
