Benjamin Franklin Half Dollars: 1962 P, D
In the year 1962, approximately 13 Million Ben Franklin half dollars were minted in Philadelphia (no mint mark) and about 36 Million were made at the Denver mint.
Franklin halves were made of 90% silver. The mint mark appears on the reverse side of the coin above the image of the Liberty Bell.
